Want to purchase with purpose but need some help to get started? Don't worry, we've got you. Join other local people that are engaged in the program and learn useful tools and tricks to start on your purposeful purchasing journey. Depending on your level of sponsorship, we have a range of ways to help you. From lists of verified sellers to buy from, to bespoke match making and supply chain audits - we can match your impactful purchasing needs to every occasion.
The Ask: Become a sponsor of this project and make at least one purchase from a recommended People and Planet First Verified Enterprise. Sponsorship starts at as little as $1,000 per year.
The Offer: Make your supply chain and procurement process more impactful by shifting spend to verified Chicagoland enterprises that put people and planet first.
BECOME A SELLER.
If you think your organization meets the People and Planet First verification criteria, you can become a supply chain seller for this program. If you are not sure, just reach out for a chat. There are 5 simple criteria for verification:
1. Your organization exists to solve a social and/or environmental problem.
2. You prioritize purpose, people and planet over profit in operational decisions.
3. You have a self sustaining revenue model.
4. You reinvest the majority of any surplus towards your purpose.
5. You have chosen legal structures and financing that protect and lock-in purpose long term.
